Out of Town Bags for the Hotel Guests

Picture
Here are the bags I found from Oriental Trading -- on sale, too!  They are perfect!  Red & silver!  I am making a lot of things to put inside them, so they are personalized.  I am also planning to put some basic food items in for the morning after the wedding, like muffins & granola bars.

I will be putting in water bottles, with a DIY label that has a picture of the castle we're getting married in, our names, & our saying.  Here's the first print of the labels.  There are three different labels.  One says "Fairy Tales Do Come True," "Happily Ever After," and "Love Gave Us a Fairy Tale."  The back of the label has the Knight that I created for our Save the Date magnet that says "A "Knight" To Remember!"

A candle in a silver organza bag with the saying: A candle for you - May its flame burn in our hearts With warmth & love
Whenever we're apart.  (signed from us). I am going to back the poem with silver cardstock and attach it to the outside of the silver bag.

Also included in the candle bag will be a small box of matches that I got 10/$1 at the dollar store & I have designed a cover for them saying "The Perfect Match" with our names & wedding date. On the back is our monogram that I designed.

A mini bottle of champagne will also be included in the hotel bags.  I love the taste of Raspberry Sparkletini champagne from Verdi.  I have made labels that will have our names/date on it.  These were free to make online (I found the site through a Knotty Post, but can't seem to re-find it -- even though it's bookmarked it's not coming up).  I printed them on full-sheet labels and will cut-to-size before sticking them on.  I went with the pinkish label to match the raspberry champagne.

I also have purchased organic tea, from a fair trade fair.  I created a little label for each tea saying "Tea-rific Couple" our names & date.  I'm planning to include 2 tea bags per hotel bag.

I also made cards for each hotel bag, that will be personalized to each guest room.  I just have to wait to hear who has booked a room, so that I can write a personal note to include.  I used my Cricut to create the card.  I used the "Joys of the Season" and "Don Juan" cartridges.

Door Hangers

Picture
After being inspired by these, I designed some on my computer. I will print them on red cardstock & probably add a clear crystal to each corner.  This is one door hanger -- the front side & the back side.

Still in digital format, but with color.

Family Baskets

Picture
The Bed & Breakfast
The castle is pretty much in the middle of no-where, and the hotels that guests are staying in are 20-30 minutes away.  So, we've rented out a cute little bed & breakfast for my side of the family & my FI's mom & step-dad.  Half-a-mile away, we rented out a Guest House for his side of the family.  Since all of our family is driving quite a ways to make it to the wedding, I'm making family baskets for in their rooms.  The family baskets will have all of the things from the hotel bags, but more.

One extra the families will be getting is a small silver picture of me & Marcus.  I added a small red crystal element to tie in both wedding colors.

In the little bag to the right is a small bottle of perfume from Mary Kay.  Each family room will receive a different fragrance.

The family baskets also will have a red Yankee candle in them, instead of the small, square candle in the OOT Bag.  This candle will still have the poem attached to it and a set of the personlized matches (shown under OOT Bags).

The picture on the left is a tea cup and saucer that says "Love" all around it.  This is to go along with the tea they'll be getting  (same as OOT bag teas)

On the left is the travel-size bathroom kit from Bath and Body Works.  Inside is shower gel, body lotion, hand sanitizer, hand cream, shampoo, conditioner, and mentha-lip shine.  They are also getting a huge red bath poof from B&B Works (can see in the picture of the whole basket).  I embellished with a red ribbon and our monogram (on vellum, backed with silver cardstock).
