Save the Date
My Dad made the card. It's all castle-themed to match our wedding site (pictured on the front)
Invitations
Our invitations that I designed. The word on the front says "Love" in cursive calligraphy. Pam Costa made them all by hand for us, using "Stampin' Up" products.
The inside of our invitations has a pocket for the response card, directions & accommodations. The outline of the pocket mimics castle turrets, since we are getting married in a castle. The silver word at the bottom says "Forever."
Vow Cards
I never liked the idea of repeating your feelings after hearing them from your pastor. Nor am I keen on the idea of memorizing & having to remember lines for the day of my wedding. So I'm creating Vow Cards that Pastor will hand us to read from. Marcus & I worked together to write our vows, as we wanted to say the same thing to each other. As we are holding our cards to read our vows, the back of one says "I," and the other says "Do." I like the symbolism of this, as it shows we are a team working together as one.
I still have to cut them out & back them with cardstock. I'm planning to add some Swarovski crystals as well in the corners.

Each of our cards has our first initial at the top, just to make sure the Pastor & we don't get mixed up with whose card is whose.
Our Vows
I, Stephanie, take you, Marcus, to be my husband, knowing in my heart that you will be my constant friend, my faithful partner and my one true love. I promise to be there when you need me, to fill your days with love, to comfort you and encourage you, to help you reach your goals and to love you with all of my heart, for all of my life.
Ceremony Tissue Pockets (DIY)
These are the tissue pockets I made for the guests at the ceremony. They will be handed out by the ushers. I used cardstock & printable business cards to make the pocket. This is before I stuffed the tissues in.
This is a close-up of the card inside the tissue pocket. It says: Tears of Joy, Tears of Laughter; Tears of Happily Ever After!
Front view of the closed tissue pocket. I used printable vellum to make our monogram & backed it with silver cardstock. The flower is from a big bin of "table confetti" found from Michael's craft store. And the little red "doo-dad" is an adhesive-backed gem.
Reserved Seat Signs for Ceremony
This is the digital mock-up. I want to back with silver & red cardstock & add crystals to the intersection of the swirly bow (so one on top, one on bottom). A ribbon will be layered between the cardstock pieces so the sign can be tied onto the chair.
Reception Advice Cards
I created the design for these on my scrapbooking program called Scrapbooks Plus. I used the 100 free postcards deal from vistaprint to have them printed, but I had to pay to upload my own images & to use color on the back.
The back is a mad lib that guests can choose to fill out. The text says:
We are so (adjective)for Stephanie and Marcus. They arethe most (adjective) couple and we wish them nothing less than (adjective) (noun)for the rest of their lives together. My best advice? Don't forget to (verb) before you (verb) and (verb) after you (verb). Marcus should always (verb) Stephanie's (noun) and Stephanie should always (verb) Marcus' (noun). We wish you (number) years of happiness and (adjective) (noun). Love, _________.
I'm excited to see what some of our guests come up with for these! They will be on the table by the guest book & there will be an Advice Box for them to put them in. I'm planning on reading through these the day after the wedding with all the in-town family members as we open gifts & have brunch together.

Here's what the sign says:
These cards will be
for our wedding book,
a modern twist
on the standard look.
As we begin our journey
As a new Mr. and Mrs.,
We could surely use
Your advice and good wishes.
Jot down your thoughts,
in a playful kind of way.
Fill in the blanks
for what you want to say.
Please don't forget,
It would be such a shame,
to put your card in the box
Without signing your name!

Table Numbers
My mock-up of the table number. I will cut-to-size and embellish the number with clear crystals.
